Scuba Diving

Gita and I learned to dive on a spontaneous 3-day crash course in the 1998 and became hooked. Here are some dives we've enjoyed:

  • Gordon's Rocks, Galapagos Islands (hammerhead sharks)

  • Tiputa Pass, Rangiroa (great drift dives with sharks and rays)

  • Palancar Caves, Cozumel (nice drift dive, lots of turtles, sharks)

  • Paradiso Reef, Cozumel (nice night dive)

  • Tulamben, Bali (nice wreck)

  • Esmeralda Canyon and Half Moon Reef, Belize (Blue Hole is overrated)

  • Violin Inlet, Huatulco (lots of rays)

  • Turtle Town, Maui (green turtles and cave with spout)

  • Cathedrals II, Lanai (amazing rock formations)

  • Molokini Back Wall, Maui (nice drift dive on wall with sharks)

  • Rainbow River, Crystal Springs (relaxing fresh water drift dive)

  • Kurls, Jupiter FL (nice sharks)

  • M60 Tanks, Miami FL (where else can you see army tanks underwater?!)

  • Twin Sisters, Bahamas (beautiful twin wrecks)

  • Red Sea

  • Grand Cayman (clear, warm water)

  • Grand Turk

  • Bonaire

  • Bimini

  • Osprey Reef, Coral Sea (lots of reef sharks)

  • Cod Hole, Outer Barrier Reef (potato cod)
